21st October 2010                             FASHION SHOW

On Thursday evening the choir presented a fashion show at Sketty Park Community Centre, Swansea. A capacity audience were treated to a feast of winter fashions supplied by Nanette's Ladies Fashion and Accessories of Kidwelly. Nanette's staff along with five members of the choir acted as models for the evening and put on a first class 'cat walk' display. Inhibitions were overcome as they strutted their 'stuff' around the hall to rousing applause.

The choir gave a short performance during the half time interval singing 'As Long As I Have Music' and 'Hafan Gobaith' conducted by Musical Director Dorothy Chaplin and accompanied on the piano by Michelle Carr the choir's assistant accompanist. Both songs were extremely well received by the entralled audience.

The choir would like to thank everyone who supported the event, Nanette for bringing the outfits, the models for doing a first class job and Choir Secretary Linda Jones for proposing and organising the event.
