The Annual Patrons Concert was held at All Saints Church, Oystermouth, Swansea and featured Eirian Davies, Baritone who with the ladies of the choir performed for a capacity audience which included guests of honour, the Lord Mayor of Swansea, Councillor Gareth Sullivan and his wife the Lady Mayoress Mrs Carol Sullivan.       

Canon Keith Evans, the vicar of All Saints was the compere for the evening and the ladies gave a polished performance of a well balanced and varied programme of music ranging from classical works, spirituals and West End musicals. Choir soprano Helen Reeves was soloist for the song 'Close Every Door' from the musical 'Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat', her debut as a soloist and her performance was superb. The choir gave a brilliant presentation of the song 'Adiemus' by Karl Jenkins during which Ian Richards, husband of musical director Lynda, played drum, the overall effect and sound was enchanting.

  Eirian Davies gave two polished performances which left the audience entralled. His varied Oratorio and Operatic repertoire and presentation were greatly appreciated and admired. The ladies of the choir were also captivated  by his good looks. He was accompanied on the night by Howell Price, an experienced and accomplished accompanist.  

Last year the choir introducred a 'Loyalty Recognition' scheme where members are given a certificate and lapel pin badge when they reach milestone years of attendance. Eight members were recogised at the concert as follows.

  Elizabeth Birt, Shirley Fender, Diane McFenton and Victoria Ray were all awarded with SILVER status after 15 years service to the choir.

  Lynda Richards and Rita Smith were awarded with GOLD status after 20 years service to the choir.

  Juila Geelan and Alvene Hixon were awarded with DIAMOND status after 25 years service to the choir.

After the concert Patrons were invited to supper in the church hall. The ladies of the choir had all been involved with the preparation and supply of numerous items of food which was thoroughly enjoyed by the Patrons, guests and choristers. A big thank you was given to the ladies for their efforts and generosity in providing such lavish fare by Musical Director Lynda Richards.

During the buffet the prize draw was actioned. The first prize of the food hamper was won by Mr Gerald Addison of Sketty Park, Swansea.

The Patrons specific raffle prize of £40 worth of Marks & Spencer vouchers was won by Mrs I G G Jones of Derwen Fawr, Swansea. Patron Number 83.
