13th November 2010 Craft Fayre
Today the choir were pleased to host a Craft Fayre at the Sketty Park Community Centre, Swansea.
We would like to thank chorister and crafter Vivienne Saunders for the use of her advertising banner.
The Fayre was supported by a number of 'Crafters' displaying and selling various hand made crafts and gifts, including Bags, Canvas Bags, Christmas Cakes & Puddings, Christmas Decorations, Framed Images, Hand Made Greeting & Christmas Cards, Harlequin Dolls, Hats & Scarves, Home Made Cakes, Honey, Beeswax & Chutney, Jams & Chutneys, Jewellery, Miniature Dolls Houses & Accessories, Precious Stones & Crystals, Quilting, Wood Turning and various other Craft Items. Thank you to all for their support of this event.
The ladies of the choir supplied home made cakes for a 'choir cake stall' which virtually sold out, sold raffle tickets and manned the kitchen on a rota basis selling home made soup with a bread roll and tea, coffee or squash with a slice of cake and of course the resultant washing up. Thank you to all who helped in any way whatsoever, your support was very much appreciated.
Finally but not at all least, the Choir would like to say a big THANK YOU to chorister and crafter Pamela Duffy for suggesting the event to the choir and for her time and effort in organising the crafters attendance on the day, thus ensuring a great success for this venture.
